VA LECANTO, FL

DAU CONCEPT was selected to design this state of the art CBOC VA Clinic in Lecanto, Florida. The main design concept is inspired by the surrounding wooded site. By nestling the building into the woods, we created a calm healing environment that promotes wellness and biophilia. The form is simple yet sophisticated and resembles the pro-cession of the treatment and healthcare service in the new facility. The shape, texture, and colors are drawn from the live oak wooded surrounding and local water lagoons. The result is a healing retreat that heals and inspires.
