Blue Cross Blue Shield HQ

The renovation of BCBS HQ brought new transparency, visibility, and connection to the local community.

The emphasis of the project was to elevate the quality of the workplace for everyone - customers, as well as employees. Vast glazed areas on the first floor that are open to the public were intentionally left as transparent as possible to create a fresh environment with quality daylight. The lobby was enhanced by a glowing back-lit art wall depicting local landmarks. The artwork was used throughout the building as part of wayfinding strategies.

In addition to the refreshing office environment, a big emphasis was also focused on promoting healthy choices in the updated canteen featuring an open kitchen concept.
