Jerry Zhang Joins DAU

Jerry Zhang Joins DAU Studio as a designer.

We are very excited to announce that Jerry Zhang will join the DAU team as a designer in our studio. Jerry comes from a unique and diverse background rooted in China. At a young age, Jerry moved to the United States where he received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. His time in China and in the United States has allowed him to appreciate different ethnic backgrounds, cultures, ideas, and philosophies. All of which fuels his passion for design. Professionally, Jerry has vast experience in different project types and scales. The most recent project Jerry worked on is the O'Hare Global Terminal, where he participated in various stages of design and coordination. 

Outside of architecture, Jerry enjoys traveling and has been to more than 20 countries, including Spain, Japan, and Singapore. From these journeys, he has built an understanding of places and the essence of architecture. Learning from architectural masterpieces, he is passionate about growing as a designer -- collaborating with talented people, and creating unique architectural experiences.
